So we went out and I guess that Buddy missed the couch or something but we came back a few hours later and Buddy had dug a hole straight through the oak hardwood floor, under the baby gate so he could get to the living room. I could see the floorboards underneath and straight into the basement and Buddy was sound asleep on the couch  exhausted from a hard days digging.....

it was not a good open house.

well, a year later, Buddy the cocker spaniel was over 100 lbs and the size of a St Bernard. We were selling our house and about to have an open house. The day before our open house, i cleaned it surgically clean, and to prevent the dogs from messing anything up, I put up an extended baby gate to keep them in the dining room and kitchen, where I figured the dogs couldn't do much damage.
