Thank god i found this site! after rescuing a newfoundland/black lab puppy we named lucy our lives has been turned upside down!  She is apparently a rabbid repuplican who has repeatedly annihilated any barack obama campaign literature she could find (much to my dismay!) and also has an affinity for first edition vladimir nabokov novels.  She also enjoys eating cookbooks, houseplants, anything fuzzy, and also can jump 5 foot high fences in a single bound..  Maybe my glass half empy attitude is the wrong way to look at it.  How many dogs do you know that can scrape the enamel plating off of a hair straightening iron in less than ten minutes?  After reading all of the stories on your sight i see she might have a little compition :)  Thank you so much for trying to lighten up the chaos we pet owner's call life!
