This is Barley. He is a 1.5 yr old half Weimarainer half Labrador. Now that he is grown, he is a wonderful dog. Puppy hood however, was trying to say the least. He struggles with extreme separation anxiety. Housebreaking was a whipping, and kennel training was miserable. I got to the point nothing could be left within three feet of his kennel or else it would somehow get dragged in and shredded. These items include, clothing, towels, pillows, shoes, anything he could get his paws on. That's not the best though...a few months ago my roommate came to me late one night to pay the rent, he gave me 5 $100 bills. I was exhausted and thoughtlessly lay them on my head board thinking I would put them in my wallet the next morning. Next morning I wake up and the money has been spread over my room and there are only 4 of them. "Crap", I think. There's no way Barley ate it. For a good while, I search high and low; no money. For the next 48 hours I still doubt Barley had eaten the money until we were on our evening walk the next day and low and behold, there in my poop bag, in shreds, was my $100 bill. It was certainly the least fun jigsaw puzzle I have ever done, but fortunately the bank took the money. If it were $20 or even $50 I probably wouldn't have gone to such lengths, but $100 is $100.
