Billy Ray is quite the chewer. So far he has eaten the cords off of a vacuum cleaner, an oscillating fan, a cell phone charger, and a couple other tings that my son has not told me about yet. As well, at least 3 shoes, a pair of my 8 year olds underwear. (We don't know that Miley was not involved in these crimes, but wed do know that Billy Ray was.) On top of the eating, he and or Miley decided that they did not care for the linoleum in my hallway. So far they have only managed to remove about a quarter of it and my husband decided to somewhat allow them to do this, since he has new carpet for that hallway anyway and this way he doesn't have to take up the linoleum.

Billy Ray and Miley have a feline roommate, Pippy, and 3 ducks to play with in the yard. You would think that when they're done chasing the cat and have spent some time tormenting the ducks they would be too tired to destroy the house and contents, but somehow they still have the energy. At least they have not yet learned how to get out of the crate, if only I could get my 2 year old to quit letting them out of it.

We recently adopted 2 small dogs. A Min pin/dachsund mix, Billy Ray, and a shih tzu (we think, maybe)/terrier mix, Miley. As you can see these dogs love my kids and are great with them, however..... Billy Ray came to us completely unhousebroken and very puppy. BTW, complete opposite of what I was looking for, but my oldest fell in love and agreed to support the dog himself, so he came to live with us. Miley was housbroken, but very timid. It took quite awhile to get her to go near my husband. She also took off on a 2 week explore right after we got her so she 'forgot' some of her housbreaking rules.  So we pretty much had to start from scratch with both of them.
