Here is a funny story for you....
A few year ago my dog dukie was spinning in circles crying. I noticed he was tugging at something stuck in his butt. He had swallowed his rope toy and was spinning around pulling the string (loL!!!!). Kinda like dogggie anal beads or something. I had to keep feeding him until it eventually came out.
