This isn't a "funny" story but I figured it might be a good addition as “Watch Out” Story... About a year ago I was putting together a cheap bookcase and needed some glue to make it sturdier so I went and bought "Gorilla Glue". When I finished with the glue I put it on the very back of the bathroom counter and forgot about it. A couple of mornings later I woke up and my dog had something sticky all over her and the bed but when I picked it up (in the dark) it felt like my husband's gel deodorant container so I just threw it away and went back to sleep. 2 hours later when we were up and getting ready for work I realized it was the gorilla glue and immediately called poison control. They told me that when GG gets wet it expands and that I needed to get her to the vet immediately. We rushed her there and three hours later they finished the surgery to remove a ball the size of a large honeydew from her stomach. I've attached a picture of both Aisley and the ball the vet removed. Like I said, this isn't a funny story but it's something people should know about so that they won't have GG where a dog can get it. After the surgery I learned that GG smells and tastes like maple syrup so it attracts dogs.
