My dog is 8yrs now and is a wonderful dog,  However, he was the most HORRIBLE pup EVER till he got to age 3yrs.  He would break thru double paned windows, chew the locks off windows, chew up deadbolt knobs, open door knobs, he ate all my new bras and chewed the zippers out of all my jeans.  I even have pictures of him standing on our roof, after he broke out the upstairs window (I had left for 5 minutes to go to the corner store).  Thank goodness he didn't jump!  He gets out of any collar, harness, muzzle, etc.  The vet declared him "un-crateable"; he ripped up his metal crate.  When we went camping, the camp owners wouldn't let me leave him alone if we had to leave to go anywhere after he jumped thru the camp window.  I actually wanted to get rid of him and put an ad in the paper stating...

When it came time to get rid of him, I just couldn't do it.  Thank God I didn't, because he is the love of my life now.  It seemed the day he turned 3yrs old, he dramatically changed.  He's close to perfect now.  I'm sure he did a lot more naughty things, but this is all I can think of at the moment.  Oh, he also loves to kill woodchucks, squirrels and the worst, skunks, however he never harms domestic animals.  He even got a porcupine once, but he didn't win that fight, that was a nice $600 vet bill.   oh yeah, he’s also a good climber :)
