She was kept in my room when nobody else was home, partially because she had bladder problems and sometimes had to wear diapers. One day, I came home (I think from the store, or school) and opened my door expecting Kady to scramble herself up (she was usually right up against my door), well I hear her scramble up, and I hear dog food on the floor...O.K. I just thought maybe she tipped over her food bowl. I thought wrong. When I get my door open, she looks at me like "Who did THIS?!" Her 25lb bag of food was strewn all over my floor. It was a MESS! So I let her outside, and cleaned it up. She comes back inside, and looks at me like I never feed her. I cleaned up the food, and put it in a large plastic container, and in my closet, thinking that she wouldn't get to it. Wrong again. The next day I come home from school, she does it yet again! And again two more times. The fourth time was on my birthday! Just what I wanted to do on my birthday, clean up dog food (at least it was dry food and not wet).

Who would have thought that a sweet 17-18 year old dog could cause this much destruction?!

I'm fifteen, and I rescued Kady from a shelter in 2007, 13 months to the day later, I had to put her to sleep, but it was the best thing for her.  Kady is about 17 years old, and has arthritis, didn't like taking walks (she would walk down the driveway and expect me to carry her back up, which I usually did). She just laid on her doggy bed, and slept. That or beg for treats.

sooo much!!!!

I love

In January of this year, I come home to the mess in the picture I sent. That is my comforter off of my bed (and it wasn't hanging off of my bed, it was more near the wall so I have no idea how she got it), her temporary food bowls tipped over, and candy (choclate, kit-kats, pringles) all over. She ate some of the chocolate, and was fine. She has also eaten half a package of oreos, half a packet of oatmeal cookie mix, some bread/hot dog rolls, and bologna- she loved bologna.

Thorough all of her messes, I still managed to love her.   :)
