This is my little angel... Maggie.  I adopted her from a rescue group that did not take very good care of her, I budgeted $500 for my girl, and within a week I was up to $1200 in medical bills from the health problems she had.  Within the first week she also tore apart a wide selection of books, ate a whole in the carpet and tore up important legal documents for an estate I was helping with... including a car title... the night before a final... (I spent about 3 hours tapeing it back together!)  Either way, we persevered and she was soon a part of the family, but her best antics were yet to come.  I had two male room mates, one was my boyfriend, and the other a lifelong friend that I grew up with.

I had put Maggie in my room for a 5 min time out because she was barking at people passing through our back yard.  Soon I hear this odd sound coming from my bedroom, like a rapid tapping against the door, and directly following Maggie barking in full blown panic mode.  I jumped up from the couch and ran to the door, and proceeded to fall to the floor laughing as I saw my vibrator laying on the floor, half eaten and turned on full power.  Well... my roommates were both home, and curious as to what was going on.  They walk in the room, me still on the floor, the vibrator still on, and a very confused and traumatized dog staring at them.  Since that day, she hasn't torn apart, or chewed on a single thing she isn't supposed to,  I think it scared her out of her cycle of destruction.  And we all got a great laugh out of it!
