1. She ate the handmade christmas card that my grandfather sent to my grandmother during WWII.  It survived 8 children and 27 grandchildren...but not one resourceful dog.

2. She ate the handle and the brushes of a yellow and blue toliet brush.  On the way to the vet to see if she was ok, she vomited all over my then boyfriend's car and then pooped yellow and blue for a week.  It was truly gross.

3.  A box of dark chocolate from Argentina that my brother's girlfriend brought home - that made her so sick I had to get her stomach pumped....on new year's eve no less (that was not cheap)

4. And finally, 3 days before my brother's wedding she got up on my parent's bed, onto the nightstand and got into the case that had my father's dentures.  Yes his teeth.  By the time we found her she'd pretty much destroyed them. It caused mass hysteria - cost $3k to get temporary replacement teeth done and delievered the day of the wedding - imagine those family photos.  But we all got over it and when she pooped a tooth we couldn't stop laughing...talk about getting bit in the a$$!

Let me introduce my dog Micki. She's a 7 year old corgi/terrier mix (maybe), in other words your classic mutt. Much beloved and very sweet, i figure she's cost me well over $5k for all of her escapades.  Over the course of 6 years, she's eaten or destroyed the usual, cords, legs of chairs, cushions, eye glasses, squeaky toys...but here are some of the highlights.
