Funny I should find this website....I just finished scrapbooking a page devoted to things my dog ate!  I have 2 adopted miniature schnauzers and the oldest, Poco, is constantly getting into things.  She was picked up as a stray by the SPCA and had likely been homeless for awhile (judging by how she looked and smelled when we first met her).  So, with that in mind, I guess it is not surprising that she is such a little scavenger!  The following is a list of some of the things she has gotten into.  Although we do our best to dog proof, she is constantly outsmarting us and getting into something new.

Poco The Scavenger has eaten:

•Chocolate coins

•An entire loaf of bread

•Wasabi

•Toothpaste

•Tea bag

•Box of brandy-filled chocolate covered cherries (had to call emergency vet number)

•Powdered hot chocolate mix

•Chinchilla food

•Bag of rabbit treats

•Sun Rype fruit bars and fruit sticks

•Vector bar

•Flowers of a cyclamen plant-

        had to call ASPCA  poison control hotline.

•Chocolate chips

•Dry oats

•Licorice

•Raw potatoes

•Avocado pits
