Well when my son was switched to sippy cups ,we got the kind that have a ring with a soft spout on it and one day, being the fool of a dog he was, he was drinking what was left in the sippy cup and got the ring stuck on his lower jaw. I received a frantic phone call from my daughter at work asking what we were to do, because it would not come off. we ended up at the emergency vet’s office having it removed.

Besides the 3 couches he made dinner of, he also ate my daughter’s mattress when she went away for a month.... so between the vet and stuff he chewed, he’s caused quite extensive damage.

Our baby boy Skitzo, though, is now three years old and thankfully done eating furniture and formula, unless offered. He is 150 pounds of pure love.

We would not trade him for anything!!!!

I have been reading other stories that people have sent in and remembered something very special about our Skitzo. His mother died shortly after giving birth to him and his litter mates; so they were all formula fed and the story takes off from here...

Well, when we brought Skitzo home, we also had a baby boy on the most expensive kind of baby formula at home. If I made the mistake of leaving a can of that formula on a counter where he could reach it, he would eat the whole thing. Skitzo could even open unopen cans of formula, all of which were powdered formula. He would steal it from the diaper bag if I left a can in there.
