Let’s see, my owner had a wonderful hand made wooden bench – I chewed on the arm rests and legs….but what the heck, it is made out of wood and not steel, right? Then that wasn’t enough, I ate some wires to the bbq. Ok, I ate some wires to the bbq several times. I must have wanted my owners to know how hot it was outside and they didn’t open the back door fast enough for me to allow me back in when they let me out to go to the bathroom, I ate some wires to their AC unit. I also didn’t like the power outlet socket next to the patio door. I think I heard my owners voices and I wanted to check inside to see if they were in the power box. Nope! They weren’t!
Just recently, my owners were draining the swimming pool. I enjoyed running around the pool, jumping on the side, to watch my owners and everyone enjoy the pool. I guess they should have went with their first instinct, to install a fence around the pool, but they trusted me, right???? Should they???? Well, you be the judge….when the water they were draining was approximately ¼ inch from the bottom of the pool and the next day they were going to take the pool, I thought it would be my last chance for a swim – so I saw the wind blowing the side a little bit, so I had to take a look. I split a hole in the pool liner…thank goodness the pool was almost empty – could you have imagined 5,500 gallons of water messing up my hair! By the way, I forgot to include.
one little thing…I did have a little plastic baby pool full of water, but I really wanted to use the big pool – not the kiddie pools! You should have seen my dive! Don’t forget – labs are awesome swimmers! I just wanted to show everyone my moves!
So, long story short, my owners love me so very much! So much, they bought me a playmate now that I can have fun in the backyard with and leave all their personal items alone…ok, not everything - I do like to steal their stuff animals a lot and remove all the stuffing and scatter it all over the floors!
Love, Sonny”
